Somatic Healing
I'm a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) practitioner. I provide trauma recovery targeted listening therapy remotely using Unyte-iLS software. The whole Safe and Sound Protocol program is five hours long but is broken up over the course of many sessions to allow time for somatic processing and integration. I also provide SSP for couples to open ventral-vegal pathways for connection. SSP has the ability to introduce secure attachment in the nervous system, often for the first time in a person's life. The listening is not sufficient alone because without the presence of a safe attachment figure during listening the pathways aren't lit up and safety in relationship isn't found. It's a relational experience that simulates the first days of life when our nervous systems are being developed. And amazingly these pathways can be awoken after a lifetime of unavailability, allowing incredible things to happen.
